Ambulance Involved in Vehicle Crash

A Washington Township Fire Department medic unit was involved in a motor vehicle crash this morning at 10:23 a.m. The crash happened at the intersection of Yankee Road and State Route 725.

 

The medic was transporting one patient to the hospital at the time of the incident. The patient was transferred to another medic unit so that transport to Southview Hospital could be completed. The patient was not injured in the crash.

 

Both crew members of Medic 44 and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Southview Hospital for evaluation.

 

Investigation of the crash will be done by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
